In verse 23, Alma says "all things shall be restored to their proper and perfect frame." What do you think "proper" and "perfect" mean in this context?

  1. I love this chapter in the Book of Mormon. I have been thinking for the last week about the resurrection and why that is a free gift. This is not doctrinal but I think I have come up with an answer. In the pre-mortal life, all of us on earth made the right choice to come here. Those who chose not to come to earth will not get a body. I think the reason all men here receive a body even when they are wicked is because they kept their first estate. A perfect resurrected body is the gift for keeping that estate. If we want exaltation, we have to keep our second estate through keeping our covenants. That gift is only available to us if we are willing to partake of the enabling power of the atonement. It is all such a beautiful plan. How blessed we are to have the Book of Mormon to make the plan of happiness so easy to understand.
