Verse 14 says, "And behold, this is the whole meaning of the law, every whit pointing to that great and last sacrifice; and that great and last sacrifice will be the Son of God, yea, infinite and eternal." What laws and commandments do you observe today that point to the Savior? Explain how you make that connection.
In verse 17, we are admonished to call upon God's name that he might have mercy on us. Then, in verses 18-27, it details the many things for which we should pray to Heavenly Father. Why do you think prayer is so connected to obtaining mercy?
Verses 28-29 explain that if we don't have charity, our prayers are in vain. What connection do you see between charity and effective prayer? Why is charity so significant in God's plan for us?
Verses 32-33 speak of how important it is not to procrastinate the day of our repentance. What are some ways, practical or otherwise, that help you to follow through promptly on either repenting or following through with promptings?
