In the first half of this chapter, Alma talks about the Melchizedek priesthood, as well as the prerequisites necessary to hold it. Regardless of how strong your testimony of the priesthood may or may not be, what are ways we, as women, can strengthen our testimonies of this great and essential power he uses to bless us?
Reread verses 28 and 29. Have you had any personal experiences with your own efforts to develop the qualities listed in these verses? Are there any qualities listed here that you might benefit from improving in your own life?
Why are we encouraged to "hope that ye shall receive eternal life"? (Vs. 29). Why do you think the Lord doesn't consider it prideful to hold such a lofty goal? Is it ok to expect such a blessing?
